Gone is the massive O-Pee-Chee logo, replaced instead with a much smaller take on the bottom corner of the card. Hockey card fans will also find eight Rainbow parallels in every box. Short print Marquee Rookies and Marquee Legends are back. Fifty Pop-Ups use a die-cut design. The base card design opts for a larger player image than in recent years.

Throw into this the fact that the newsletter is being printed 4 colour CMYK, the folder 5 colour, the business cards 2 colour and the brochure will finally be printed 6 colour with a spot UV finish (but we will leave that one for now), it has... This proved extremely difficult as the cost of testing a variety of blends on press was too much, so with only a calibrated proof to go on from the printers (this is a high quality digital print but does not print spot colours), we had a stab at... This, when printed in the new spot colour, did not match the CMYK representation the client had seen with it revealing much more contrast in the various blends. The new cover design used a pattern that was made up of various overlaying gradients of the spot colour. The client wanted the new colour but with the subtlety of the original design. business cards, folders and a newsletter....

Christmas means getting my crafty on until 3:30 in the morning, y'all.

Hands down, without a doubt, absolute favorite Christmas movie that I quote (along with Jason, his family and mine) all the ding dang year- "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. In one of them, everything was set up just like Santa had left it on Christmas morning but I noticed that the TV was on and an episode of "The Dick Van Dyke" show was playing on Nick at Nite. Favorite Christmas movie. I was in 4th grade and looking at some pictures that Mom had recently gotten developed from Christmas morning. " I watched it with Mom and Allie at Thanksgiving. Jason and I watched it with a group of our Chatt friends a couple of weeks ago. I just need to sit down and watch it with my in-laws and I will have hit the trifecta. Don't worry, though, I was happy to play along as long as I still got loads of presents under the tree.
